Communioo Beta AI Policy

1. Overview

Communioo (the "Platform") offers optional AI-assisted features. This AI Policy explains how those features work, in particular that Communioo operates on a "bring your own key" ("BYOK") basis, and sets out the associated responsibilities and disclaimers. This Policy should be read together with the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and the liability limitations in the Terms of Use (including its carve-outs for fraud, wilful misconduct, and gross negligence) apply equally here.

As with those documents, Communioo is currently operated by Ayush Pandey, an individual, and not by any registered company or legal entity.

2. How AI features work on Communioo ("bring your own key")

Communioo does not provide, own, or supply its own AI provider account, API key, or AI processing capacity for members to use. Instead:

• If you want to use AI-assisted features on the Platform, you must connect your own API key for a third-party AI provider of your choice (or one specified by your association).
• When you use an AI feature, your input data (and any relevant context needed for the feature to work) is sent directly using your own API key to that third-party AI provider's service.
• The Operator does not operate, control, or independently review the AI models, infrastructure, or outputs of any third-party AI provider you connect.
• Any use of AI features is entirely optional. Members who do not wish to use AI features, or who do not configure an API key, are not required to do so and can use the Platform without them.
• Availability of AI features depends on your own key and your chosen provider's service — the Operator makes no guarantee that any particular AI feature will be available, functional, or compatible with any given provider at any time.

3. Whose responsibility is the AI provider relationship

Because you supply your own key:

• Your relationship with the third-party AI provider (e.g., account terms, billing, usage limits, data handling, model behavior) is governed solely by that provider's own terms of service and privacy policy, not by Communioo's Policies.
• You are responsible for reviewing and complying with your chosen AI provider's terms, including any restrictions on the type of data you may submit to it.
• You are responsible for any costs, usage charges, or rate limits associated with your own API key.
• You are responsible for keeping your API key secure and for any consequences of it being lost, stolen, or misused.

4. What Communioo does and does not do with AI-related data

• Communioo's role is limited to passing your request and your API key to the AI provider's API in order to enable the feature you've chosen to use, and returning the provider's response to you within the Platform interface.
• The Operator does not use your API key or your AI inputs/outputs for any purpose other than enabling the specific feature you invoked.
• The Operator does not guarantee that data sent to a third-party AI provider is encrypted, retained, deleted, or otherwise handled in any particular way — that is entirely dependent on the third-party AI provider you have chosen.
• You should assume that any data you submit through an AI feature may be processed, and potentially retained, by the third-party AI provider according to their own policies — do not submit data through AI features that you are not comfortable sharing with that third-party provider.

5. Acceptable use of AI features — data you must not submit

When using AI features on Communioo, you agree not to submit, and are solely responsible if you do submit:

• Personal data of other members, contacts, or third parties (e.g., other members' names, emails, profile details, or directory data) to an AI feature, unless you have a clear lawful basis and any necessary authorization from your association to do so;
• Confidential or competitively sensitive information belonging to another company (including competitors within your association's working groups) — see the Terms of Use, Section 9, on competition/antitrust law;
• Sensitive personal data (e.g., health, financial, or similarly sensitive details) of yourself or others;
• Unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content.

You further agree not to use AI outputs in a way that misrepresents them as fully accurate, verified, or endorsed by the Operator or your association, and not to rely on AI outputs as a substitute for professional legal, financial, technical, or compliance advice — AI outputs are not professional advice of any kind.

6. No liability for AI outputs or third-party AI providers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and subject to the carve-outs in the Terms of Use (Section 12) for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, and non-waivable statutory rights:

• The Operator makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, appropriateness, or legality of any output generated by AI features, since these outputs are generated by third-party AI providers using your own connected key, not by Communioo.
• The Operator has no liability for: (a) the content, accuracy, or consequences of any AI-generated output; (b) any action taken in reliance on AI-generated output; (c) how your chosen third-party AI provider handles, stores, secures, or uses any data you submit to it; (d) any breach, misuse, outage, or malfunction on the part of a third-party AI provider; or (e) any consequences arising from your own decision to submit data described in Section 5 above.
• You use AI features entirely at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on or sharing it.

7. Changes to AI features

Because Communioo is in beta, AI features (including which providers are supported, how the BYOK flow works, and what functionality is offered) may change, be added, or be removed at any time without notice.
